We know that coming to church for the first time can be scary! We hope to make your visit as comfortable and relaxed as possible. so please, feel free to ask any questions! We always have the kettle on after our services, and welcome you to stay for a cuppa and a chat.
What do I do when I get there?
You will be welcomed into the church and given a service booklet and a welcome sheet with the hymns and bible readings in. Feel free to sit wherever makes you feel comfortable.
How long will church last?
Just over one hour.
Are kids welcome?
What should I wear?
Wear whatever you feel comfortable wearing.
An offering is collected every week. It is voluntary, please do not feel pressured to contribute, especially if it's your first time - just enjoy the service!. If you do wish to do so, there are envelopes in the back of the chairs.
How do I get there? There is plenty of parking on our car park, and the number 5 bus stops right outside. Click to see St. Lukes on a map.
Can I learn more?
Yes, definitely. St. Lukes provides a learning environment for people to grow in their faith, through Wednesday Fellowship and Wednesday Evening Fellowship. Kid's can also learn through Sunday School & First Steps. We occasionally have students from the University of Chester and other places working with us. We also have links with many other organisations.
